Sounds silly to be so happy about this, but we've gone a record 143 DAYS without a single drop! The last time it rained in any capacity was October 18th. The last time we got a decent rain (.59 inches) was August 2nd. So needless to say we're a bit excited :) Happy Saturday everyone!

PS-Cyn-Now I know! Rain isn't just a faerie tale! :-P

The cat was fascinated. He sat on the (covered) patio and stared and stared and stared . . . He was very disgruntled that it was raining everywhere! At first I think he thought it was just raining in one spot, because he checked the entire perimeter of the patio for the icky wet stuff. LOL.

The dogs wanted to play in it, but we kept them inside except for potty breaks. Needless to say, there was a lot of pent up energy in the house yesterday, 'specially since I had three teenagers on top of four dogs. O_O

Of course, for all that I am happy about the rain, we actually have a party to go to tonight that usually takes place in my neighbor's back yard :\
So while I'm thrilled it's going to rain all. weekend. long. I kinda wish it had waited until After the party.

We had freezing rain and hail and thunder though, so I wasn't sure you'd want all that. :P

I feel like I'm in Seattle. It's rained and stormed every day for a week now! I'm glad you're getting it though since it's much needed, I just wish it would let up here. ♥
