My seventh grade classes are doing well, but I don't feel at all excited about or like I deserve my first paycheck because my 6th grade class is struggling.  :'(
I don't care about money. My payment is my kids' success...and I feel like I'm not getting paid yet.

I was cleaning out my desk of three years worth of accumulated papers from college when I came across my folder from Phoenix Rising...and inside on one of my pages of notes was a sketch I had started of Lily and James. Thus ended my diligent clean-up process, and began the completion of my sketch of three years ago! ( :WINK!!: )

I just got my math praxis scores and I PASSED!!! Thirteen points higher than I needed to! XD times a BILLION! And I finally found out the score of my PLT teaching one...186 out of 200!! WOOT!! Oh and my score on math was a 143 (LA passing score was 130, not the 151 I thought it was...I had misread the chart, 151's the LA passing score for MUSIC lol ( Read more... )

I got half of my PRAXIS II scores on Saturday before we evacuated for Gustav!! I still didn't get my math ones which are the ones that I am SUPER nervous about. However!! I did get the scores for my PLT 7-12 (Principles of Learning and Teaching) aaaaand I passed! SCHWEET! I was pretty confident on this one that I would pass, but what surprised me ( Read more... )
