Sam, I believe everything happens for a reason. The reason for all of this is so that you could write this little livejournal entry and I could LAUGH MY ASS OFF. Especially at those lame-ass freshman. I'm not laughing at you, just with you.

(disclaimer: I don't believe everything happens for a reason. But I did laugh my ass off.)

All this shows what a fantastic person you are. Don't you have deep-seated issues going back to your mom not being around to pick you up? The fact that you fight her negligence with responsibility is amazing. *hugs*

I'm not saying your mom has anything diagnosable, but the grades thing and some of the crap we've talked about show she has "issues" with getting in your business. All parents do, but she obviously isn't clued in on where the line between okay and not okay is ( ... )
