To use a cinematic metaphor, I am locked in the highest room in the tallest tower in the Castle of the Wicked Witch of the West, sobbing piteously as an hourglass ticks out the dwindling moments of my life while that yapping twit Toto does absolutely nothing useful in the savagely-ripping-out-the-witch's-throat department, job-wise.
