I don't understand why so many people have so many strong feelings about Valentine's Day.  It's just a day, whether you're single or in a relationship or what.  It's a terrible day to go out on, because everywhere is packed and has a wait, and if you're single, who the hell cares what everyone else is doing?

The newest issue of Poets & Writers arrived with the words "Inspiration" across the front.

That is what I am lacking.  Where does one find this magical force?

I learned a valuable lesson today: what happens when you forget to put your oil cap back on.  I am ashamed to admit that I did this, and the entire front end of my car was covered in oil.  I only noticed it when I saw oil dripping down both of my headlights.  >_After a long, kharmically unbalanced two weeks, I am mentally and physically exhausted ( Read more... )
