Ok, that's not entirely true, but this has been such a rough summer for my family I've totally thrown myself into vacation planning. I basically decided to hibernate for the summer. My mother was mugged in the parking lot of the International Mall in Tampa. She was walking to her car around 9:00 p.m Friday when someone hit her in the back of the head, knocking her to the ground. I haven't written in this thing for a long time, so I though a little update was in order. The period between spring and summer semesters is pitifully brief. The Native American Student Association of LSU is having its Powwow this Saturday. From noon until 10 pm there will be Native American music, dancing, crafts and food.
