Thanks to all for your concern...my eye is much better...a vitreous detachment similar to
the one I had in the right eye two years ago. There is a slight danger of an actual retinal detachment while it heals, but we are expecting the best outcome.

This is the first opening ceremony of the Olympics
that I haven't been very enthused about watching.
Usually, peaceful international events are a breath of fresh air
amid all the constant killing...
but what China did & still does to Tibet spoils it for me....
...cultural genocide...beating monks...the lies....awful stuff.
