How's your holiday? Mine's been...interesting so far. I need to take my mind off of things and for some reason writing you semed like a great way of doing that. I bought you a gift--I'm not sure if you'll like it, but maybe you will. Although I'd rather give it to you in person. Do you mind if I meet you somewhere?

Terribly lonely. None of the girls in my year and house have stayed. It's rather odd sleeping in an empty room and the common room is deserted. I bought you a gift as well, and I very much doubt you'll like it. I'm awful at gifts, ask anyone.
Well it's funny you ask because soon my parents will be having me home because they're going to this dinner and want me to come. They said I have to bring a date... you wouldn't mind coming to a formal Muggle dinner party on the 27th, would you?

I do indeed have standards, thanks, but I also take into account the person who gave me the gift. It's the thought that counts, remember.
Oh it's been...fun, I suppose. I mean I love my family so it's always nice to see them. But it gets a bit busy sometimes and I feel like I'm in the way.
Haha, don't worry, Is. I look good in a suit =P.
