Does God give up on you? I mean really. I did a lot of bad things in my past and prayed constantly to stop. Sometimes I would do it again or think about doing it again but mainly I've been pretty straight. But, still nothing is going right for me. Especially financially. My youngest, a boy of 4, is going through an extremely friendly phase. It doesn't matter who you are or what you look like, if he sees you he wants to say hello. Bus drivers, teachers, grocery store clerks, postmen/women, librarians, lifeguards, kids, adults, dogs, cats.... You get the picture. When I got saved I originally thought that was all there was to receive, that is until the Lord began to reveal Himself to me. A while back I heard a pastor teach on spirits, and spiritual warfare. It was comforting to hear him share some of his personal experiences. I believe him because I've had similar experiences. I really felt alone in that there were very few people (saved or outside of the Lord) that I could talk to about these things.

Now, anyone whose understanding of God is grounded in science, theology, history, religion, philosophy, poetry, etc. usually will argue these scriptures to no end.
