I found out who the 2 random figures @ Mdme Toussades were: Nina Hagen and Bill Kaulitz. Bill is not the one with prominant armpit hair. Also the name of that weird Bread puppet show is Bernd das Brot.

I think we saw the one called Bernd das Brot in Hell.

Schneeballs. Only found in Rothenberg, are pretty tasty. The recipie here seems to be the real deal although the one I bought was dipped in white chocolate and amaretto flavored marzipan. My womna got one dipped in milk chocolate and chopped almonds. They are pretty tasty, almost like eating sugar/chocolate covered fortune cookies ( Read more... )

Krampas gave my daughter an orange at the Christmasmarkt in Wurzberg. He looked more like a Santa in a brown coat with a black beard and he accompanied a very relgious looking St. Nicholas. They call him Knecht Ruprecht.
