Amber Tamblyn (Joan) has been saying for awhile that she did not want to continue the show. I think that may be part of the reason it was cancelled. Sad tho, I really liked that show.

I can totally see why she was hot to get out from the show and begin her big movie career, what with all the fame she'll find from The Ya-Ya Sisterhood of Size 1 Girls or whatever the hell it's called.

ugh. So they really are cancelling Joan - what about Judging Amy? I am so sick of networks taking off great great shows so they can replace it with crap reality bs. I had no idea what movie you were talking about and then saw it as I was ff through my tivo'd smallville.

I am totally annoyed. I loved Joan because the children were intelligent, NORMAL kids, who had fun but who's parents knew, for the most part, what was up. UGH *ANNOYED*

okay, I know you're annoyed and all but this sentence: No, you fucking dillhole of an operating system cracked me up!!!

I'm pissed off that American Dreams was cancelled. I haven't been that into a show since My So-Called Life. *sigh* I miss My So-Called Life. It was the first show my parents and I ever watched together.
