... what. I've never really looked into Big Bang Theory. My relatively nerdy youngest sister likes it, and moments I've caught of it seemed slightly amusing for a sitcom (not a high bar, mind you), so I don't know how much I could point fingers at it. Again, not enough data. However, I can point a finger at this lady. There's a very simple concept at play here:

Fantasy <----------------------- -------------------------> Reality
TV Characters <---------------------- ----------------------> Actual People

KNOW. THE. DIFFERENCE.

Seriously, just how entitled does someone have to be to barge into a store and treat the customers (while clearly having no intention of being one) like zoo animals? To assume that random strangers you've identified with a specific subculture or group are there to be a spectacle for you because fictional members of that group are entertaining on TV? Holy dehumanizing, Batman ( ... )

Show itself I have no issue with. Don't watch, but don't really care. It's the fans outside the culture.

Yeah, I'd have had no problem if she'd offered me $50 to entertain her, though. I'm more insulted by the fact that the actors are getting paid to be entertaining nerds and she expects us to do it for free.

I like your continuum. I may steal it in the future.

IT'S SO CUUUUTE. I'm now either Yield or High-Yield (because I wanted to change my color scheme). Might be Low-Yield in the future. Only issue is some server lag, but that's mainly due to the sheer volume of people playing at some times.
