Headed to the voting place just before work figuring the 9-5ers that vote before work would be gone already. My plan worked. Didn't have to wait at all! Not one single other person for my district when I walked in. I love hitting the voting booth during the lulls.

Reading about the $150,000 spent on clothes, hair, and makeup for Palin made me think about what I could do with that much money. The fact that they spent money on those things for her isn't the problem, it's the amount of money and that they don't think it was excessive which really bothers me ( Read more... )

Heinlein got to spend the day at the vets. She managed to somehow get bit in the ass. Yup, on her butt. She is home with a somewhat shaved butt and a cone of shame on her head.
