This is my ficlet contribution for the Jack Alpha Bits section of  SG-1 GenFic day.  I haven't written fic in months and I think this has stirred the muse.  It's a tag for Unending.

Typical Jack. You said so much with so few words. Nice work.

That's what I wanted to show - typical Jack. I'm glad you like it.

This makes me wonder if Daniel would have returned every annaversary to visit Jack if he was still stuck in the stasis pod in Antartica--I think the two friends would have had identical emotions for this, and you captured it wonderfully!

I think he probably did. And we know Sam was never far away and Teal'c as well. SG1 is too close for them to walk away and just leave one of their own alone and unprotected in stasis.

Thanks for the feedback!

Brilliant, Sela. I'm thrilled to see you writing again even in a small way. This might be short but it packs a big emotional punch. Very poignant. I so agree that Jack was a major missing element of the episode, which I got a little bit obsessed with myself as you know! :-) Well done, my friend!

Looks like an interesting fic challenge. I'll have to go read more!

Thank you! I was also a little obsessed with that myself. I just couldn't take that there was no mention of Jack in the last episode at all.
