Even though I know you wrote it for the JAB, it is the perfect (and possibly only) POV to show how the outside would've moved on, but Jack wouldn't and couldn't have....

I wanted to show he would be just as frozen in time as his crew was. He wouldn't have been able to get emotionally past his team being lost to him.

I have yet to see this episode (as well as all the other season 10 episodes) but I got the gist of what was going on in this ficlet and my heart bleeds for poor Jack.

As if he could ever forget…
