That's awful!!!!! Surely work isn't going to make you stay there? Can you go somewhere else? I wouldn't go near the place. :-S

We don't get any say unfortunately. I won't be taking the laptop and I'll keep my money and cards on me. Luckily there will be eight of us in the hotel - I wouldn't fancy staying there alone.

I will be. I won't be taking much as we're travelling down on Wednesday afternoon, going for a meal and drinks in the evening and straight to the station after the conference on the Thursday. The tickets and hotel have been paid for by the company so I'll only need money for the Wednesday night. We get an allowance for the meal, but we have to pay ourselves and claim it afterwards. With it being central London we might go over budget to have a nice meal.

Can you tell I haven't been to London for six years?
