Building and falling apart
The building work is ongoing, and it’s now got to the point where we are greatly inconvenienced by it all. The first 8 weeks were fine, as far as I was concerned at least, because everything was happening ‘next door’, so to speak. Now they’ve knocked through, and are at the stage of fitting bathrooms and, soon, kitchens, there is muck and dust ( Read more... ) -

Not sure what’s wrong with me at the moment but I am feeling very mithered and anxious. Edgy. I shouldn’t be; after the last few months, I should be able to relax now and take a few calming breaths, but no. Parents
I’m quite surprised at the way my dad seems to have settled down in the new house. He seems quite okay, and my mum hasn’t reported any severe disorientation at all. In work again. I’m working a full day today… a managerial cock-up let too many people go off at the same time, so I was asked to cover. It seemed like a reasonable idea at the time!
