Today has been a hard day. Emily has been fussy for most of the day. She would only stop crying if she was being held. We got her to doze off in the car and while being pushed around in her stroller, but she would still wake up and fuss every 20minutes or so. It seems all the changes we have made for her gassiness aren't helping. I finally called ( Read more... )

She does do the lip smacking, sticking tongue out tasting thing, but the doctor didn't think that the reflux is bad enough for medication because she doesn't spit up very often. She thinks that Emily has colic. We have been putting gas drops in all of her bottles and she now sleeps on a wedge so that her head and chest are a little elevated. She seems to be doing way better now that she gets the gas drops more frequently. We haven't had a screaming day since!
