I am going to France, land (surprisingly enough) of the French, for a week. I am mainly telling you this because trust is an important part of every relationship, and I feel like it's important that you are able to differentiate between the extended periods when I do not update my journal because I am in foreign climes and the (even more) extended

Superfantastisch! Unfortunately even my mad REALLY LOUD GERMAN (or, well, German of any volume really) skillz have been diminished recently, 'cos I haven't actually done it for a year und ich habe fast alles vergessen :( Was würde der Führer sagen?!

I can't even SECRETLY speak French! I would LOVE to secretly speak French because that seems like such a ninja-like quality to have! Yeah, a load of French people can speak French... but can they do it SECRETLY? Somehow I doubt it!

German has even tainted my botched attempts at French, because apparently I can't say anything French without it sounding like I'm throwing up. WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT, I LEARNT GERMAN FOR SIX YEARS!

Anyway, here is a REALLY important answer in response to your equally important question: I am 18! As of one month and one week ago exactly! You probably knew at some point hundreds of years ago, when I was like minus 118 years old, but I've aged a bit since then so I can't really blame you for forgetting.

REALLY LOUD ENGLISH is always my language of choice. I plan on using it when I'm in the UK too. I think I just always talk loud. Especially on cell phones.
