Of books and trees.
I am rereading the Silmarillion, which is by far the best of the books set in Middle Earth. For those who haven't read it, it covers the period between the birth of the gods to about a week before The Hobbit. It is truly epic in every sense of the word and so very beautiful and sad ( Read more... ) -

Okay I think I have found an explanation for dimensionally transindental (aka how the TARDIS works) in a Terry Pratchett novel of all places. If you shrink time you can expand space. As there isn't really much time in the Tardis in any practical sense ie things don't age/go off etc then you could you could use all the excess continuum to make more ( Read more... ) -
