If you're wanting to study Aramaic, I found this site extremely good for helping me to find things to at least practice with. It even has the video for Juliana Jendo's alap beet song which is really easy to learn and ends up helping out later a lot when you're first learning to read and stuff.

Ooo... What are the odds of two half Jewish/half Catholic Emily's finding each other in this crazy, mixed up world? We should start an exclusive club.

I am from Maryland, outside of Washington, DC.

Tell me, Emily, do you like your name? Personally, I'm not a big fan of it, no offense, of course. I was named after my sister's imaginary friend, so that might be the reason for my distaste. I like to tell people I was named after the Simon and Garfunkel song "For Emily, Whenever I May Find Her," but alas, it is not true.

You might want to join aramathea. It doesn't get a lot of traffic, but maybe you can change that.
