This semester is by far the worst I've experienced in my entire Emerson career. Mostly academically, but there's also been lots of stupid social shit that I can't wait to escape for good. It is 4:48 a.m. & I haven't felt this awful in months. The only metaphor I can come up with is that I feel like I've been through the fast food process of potato to french fry. I just took out my nose piercing. I'm kind of sad, but at the same time, I felt very ambivalent about how it looked. And basically every single career I'm considering right now wouldn't allow it.
