I had been having a pretty rough patch over the past 3 weeks. Which means I spent about $200 on punk rock and cds. (and $200 gets you a lot of punk rock....)

Another year, another Throwdown!

Also, Skanksgiving on November 16. Things are looking up. Day to day problems just seem to fade away when you know that Boston and the Throwdown are just around the corner...

Just saw rancid, the fourth and final show of the summer. All in all, I'd say the punx were sufficiently upped in the last 3 months. I guess its time to head back to Lafayette then.

Second show down.... Face got rocked off again and the ears didn't stop ringing until 4 days after the show. The Bosstones managed to play just as well as they did at the throwdown, and the murphy's actually played a fulll set this time. Crowd was awesome too. Lots of older guys. 1 show down, 3, maybe 4 to go. I'll be damned if my face was not rocked clean off by 4 solid sets (Westbound Train, Goldfinger, Less than Jake, Dropkick Murphys)in a row. It was hardcore awesome.
