For any mundane, non-critical one-on-one interactions with the scientist here, whether it be poking him for whatever reason, maintaining continuity, throwing him an item, or in general doing something that isn't momentous enough to require a whole post or log for it.

It's okay! 8D; semper_cogitans August 4 2011, 01:49:27 UTC
[Robert, as usual, promptly answers his journal. At the least he's been able to sleep without being afraid something will maul him, anyway.]

... Ah... Link? Salutations.

No, I... I am u-unoccupied, at the moment. Is there s-something the matter?

Ah, yes. Certainly... o-of course.

[Robert's not used to naming things. Especially not things that are special and public. He falters a little.] ... I am not... c-certain if I could do justice to the garden...

[But Raph could be honoured there too, now. It should be something important to everybody.]

I certainly have... n-no issue meeting there. [Comfortable enough place to be, and hopefully public enough that there shouldn't be issue with certain individuals who might want to kill him or something.]

... I would think the garden should be as... d-diverse as possible. With a meaning that... that s-speaks to everybody here, or... or as many people as possible...

A... a willow, yes. Most like moist s-soils, so planting it near a river would be... beneficial, regardless.

[Robert is heading outside himself. That squeak earns a momentary wince - Link might realize just how cautiously Robert closes his own door, so it doesn't creak - before Robert points himself down toward the Flower Shop. Having gone there once before, the location is part of his memory.]

Would there be... a-alternative access, for those who find that unfeasible?

People who have... d-difficulty with the terrain, I mean. They are uncommon in Luceti, b-but I have seen people who have mobility issues, so an easier-to-access method might be an assistance in those cases. [He's thinking of Keimi, actually, who normally needs a wheelchair to get around on land.]

That would p-possibly be easier, especially for those who use alternative methods of t-transportation, such as wheelchairs. It would also mark the garden more clearly, though s-stepping stones may still be a nice aesthetic touch if it will not s-severely affect river life.

... Not that the environment here is, er, n-natural by any means.

Either w-would work, we would just need to plan things properly...

... And, well, a wheelchair is... a device a person sits in, essentially like - well, a chair with wheels - that replaces the function of w-walking for a person who has difficulty with it.

Terran wheelchairs are often computerized, and m-made of more flexible components, but the concept is still similar...

[Yeah, it's one of those weird technological things that are actually named after what they are.]

Yes, fairly s-smooth at least. I would be quite w-willing to assist with that endeavour...

[... Though it sounds like it'll be really tedious. Smoothing an entire path is not a simple task.]
