An act that obviously fails when it slips out of tired hands and... well, she's apparently reached the level where, instead of even trying to catch the weapons, she just lets them fall and stands there for a long moment, staring downward with a flat expression. Then, mismatched wings twitching in annoyance, she bends to pick them up... and spots the pair in her compulsory look around as she crouches down. He's instantly anxious. Even if he has now seen presumably worse, Lightning still instills some fear in him, the same kind of faint-echoes-of-primal-terror that he feels around Raph, that he felt - even more intensely - when he stared down the length of Yuber's blade pressed to his stomach.
Instinctively, anxiously, the scientist curls a little closer to the turtle, silently entreating him to protect him even if Lightning isn't really a threat.]
