No sleep makes me cranky

This morning, my bf has to wake up before I do. Being the increadibly light and paranoid sleeper, I get up an hour before he does, monitor the clock and let him know that it's time to get up when the alarm fails to go off. OK, the alarm worked, but the volume knob is funny, so if it's not turned up loud enough, it makes a soft whining sound instead

i had a dream my best friend was dressed like joan of arc and crucified. then someone stuck long slivers of glass in his head and shook the ends, scrambling his brains.
