I decided that if I can get a German game in German while I'm in Germany, it means I've won my Europe trip. Also, rivenwanderer said that if London falls while I'm in Europe, I also win. Somehow, I think one of these is a lot more likely to happen than the other. -
New addiction
rivenwanderer has gotten me addicted to Echo Bazaar, a fun online game which takes place in fallen London. You get 80 turns per day, to prevent people from playing all day long. And you sign up through twitter. On Thursday, I had my last class of the semester. Which consisted of a 1 hour lecture (this is a 3 hour class) and then a party. With Mimosas. Which started before 11 AM. It was a nice little party ( Read more... ) -

Twitter
I have succumbed to peer pressure/new-age technology, and have joined twitter. I'm theyellowhobbit. I'm not sure whether this is going to be used for personal stuff, or for my Etsy shop, or both. Out of the Swamp
Last week, I was really, really swamped with work for library school. I had a paper due Monday, a tech tutorial due Wednesday, and a giant cataloging assignment due Friday. I got an extension on the paper, pulled an all-nighter to do the tutorial, spent 3 hours in the cataloging lab to do the cataloging assignment, and by the end of the week I was ( Read more... ) -
