Heee! How exciting! Happy anniversary (+ two months!) Must think of some prompts.

Looking after Sam when he's sick and not hunting is fine, Dean knows what to do with that, what's really tough is when Sam's on the mend and wants to get back on the job. Trying to figure out where he's gonna be a bit weaker, what he can still handle. It's a complete balancing act between giving him enough responsibility that he doesn't get grouchy but setting sufficient secret restrictions to keep him safe. Its a touch call, but if anyone can do it, it's Dean.

Are you kidding? He's totally going to still be sick. I can't do it any other way, cuz....I said so. I just meant that there's other non-sick stuff to consider, and it's a bit more difficult than I thought. But I'm working on it...I like the idea of the negotiating in Dean's mind.

Sam has really bad flu. It's not a hunt that Dean can just abandon, but he does make sure that he gets Sam warm and comfortable in a nearby motel so he can stay out of things and get better.

Unfortunately, that's when the visions start...

Three people, all dead from falling down the stairs of some abandoned old house. A little bit of research led the Winchester brothers to believe that it was the work of the ghost of Edwin McGee, who had lived in the house and died the same way on the same stairs. Sure it was super weird, but it seemed like a plausible lead. Now, the brothers were at the house, hoping to find a cursed object he might be tethered to, since there were no records of his burial

ooooh! the prompt and the fill for this were both SO HOT! this is awesome. i liked so much about it. like the fake case! i love case stuff, it's so creative and true to canon. and all of that confusion at first, and dean's initial concern (and reference to sam's allergies! what a nice headcanon) and how they kept trying to TALK through the sneezes! SO hot!!! and of course they're so sniffly and frustrated trying to figure it out, and oh man i love the way you wrote the trickster, using nicknames and everything! it's perfect! you're really really good at writing dialogue. mmm. this was amaaaaazing~

Season 8 prompt

Dean is sick right when Sam is suffering after the first two trials. He has to negotiate between being around enough that he can make sure that Sam is okay, and not getting his brother sick on top of everything else.
