my nephew left today to go visit his brother TX before he returns overseas. He was told not to wear his uniform until he was back on the base as it is not safe for him to do so. I miss the days when my kids were small and I could take a shower wrap the body and hair in towels and reach my bedroom without running into a strange kid in the hall.

Monday is payday.....

Both kids are out doing their thing.

Snow 8" today beautiful awesmoe large wet flakes looked like a picture postcard out my back window.  Little or no winds so the snow lay like a  carpet over everthing. Roads slushed up fast so was not bad driving to and from work.

We found some old cracker and pickle barrels in the barn and have been slowly going though them. One contained a collection of pictures and old journals and ledgers.
