It's not awful ... it just looks like I sat down on my bedroom floor and went at my head with a pair of scissors : )

And I feel like it has changed my look ... like maybe I should start wearing make-up and decidedly feminine clothes, to offset the messy boyish sort of look. Hrm. We'll see. I'm still deciding what I think of it (and still chopping where needed).

speaking of.. thanks for reminding me, I'm a couple of months overdue. I wonder now whether or not I'll be able to get my own locks chopped before I visit florida.

I usually get my hair cut at a salon and then "fix" it at home. And I've been cutting my own bangs since I was a kid. All minor stuff. I've been so tempted to go at my hair lately, though ... I don't know why. Just ... the scissors called to me.

On Saturday, I curled my hair for Frank, and I cut a few locks on top to make shorter curls and give myself more poof. It was so easy ....

I have very good will power if I never, ever let myself try something. But as soon as I try it, it becomes so much simpler to continue trying it, and all will power goes out the window.

Hmm.. I have zero top-of-head-hair-cutting experience, so I only let myself attack facial hair - every once in awhile I'll mess up, and then it's happily shaved off and forgotten. I am severely tempted to dye my hair, though.

P.S. I'm not bad at cutting other people's hair. I'm more patient with it. So if you don't make it to a professional salon, you can always stop by my house.

I almost asked you last night if you wanted to get together for a hair night sometime soon. I'm wanting to dye my hair more and more... and I need a trim.

I will happily trim your hair, too, if you don't feel like going to a salon. A hair night would be fun! I could probably use someone to touch up the back, and I trust that you could only make it look better ... ha.

I'm deciding whether I want to redye my hair black, or let it grow out and go back to red ... thoughts?

I used to cut friends hair in college. I'd be happy to try to help yours and I'd love to give you a go on mine.

I'm not sure about your color. The black is starting to grow on me... but for the spring, color could be fun.

Curly hair isn't more forgiving? Mine is full of cowlicks, but yeah--it could be worse.
