Xmas Eve party -- extended

With the coming snow we have decided to keep the open house going until Monday 10pm. Winter storms here can be rather spectacular, and it is quite pleasant to sit by the wood stove and watch the snow fly by. This storm has promise with 18" of snow and winds of up to 45mph out of the NE predicted. So feel free to come by and get snowed in with us.

If I didn't need to care for a cat (paid pet sitting gig) nor feel compelled to swim tomorrow, I would be there in a heartbeat. Glad you are enjoying it:)

Yesterday (Sunday) I got caught by the storm while driving home; I should have paid closer attention to the reports on the weather. Though I eventually arrived safely, the drive was slow, slippery and tedious.

If I find myself still snowed in, I may wander to public transit and revisit (I did not see much of you at the Saturday breakfast). Otherwise, I hope that the party comes to a pleasant conclusion.
