I don’t remember what I did during the last days of summer. There is something about the end of the season that is suffocating; how the hours slip by much to our despair

Good morning. The rain has finally come; terrible and unrelenting- I am frustrated and relieved. It is easier to be lonely in the winter, isn't it? I have never been to Philadelphia. What is it like? Sundresses scare me because they are intimate. I'm sure you wear them better than I.
Thank you. I hated feeling that way but it made for some interesting paragraphs.
Garden State was interesting. You can kind of tell that all of the pretentious 'indie' kids are going to find something terribly wrong with it because it is so mainstream but I thought that it was actually very moving. Moving, but very sad and very, very true.
I race both road and track. I love the spandex world of it all, the high cost, high victory life; but I also love the poverty of the messenger world. I like the idea of living without cars, without supporting the oil industry, of using your body as a machine, foot to pedal, of pushing hard and then pushing harder and the simplicity of it all. I am training for Junior Nationals, I am considering my options, I am still confused.
I found three amazing and magical places on the Western campus today. At 8am the fog was so thick that the view from the PAC courtyard contained the water but no land beyond it; it was the ocean and that was that. Also: I enjoy your writing so much.
Show me these places sometime, okay? Pictures or in real life. Have you found the water tower yet? Take pictures from the top when you do, find a boy to spend the night there with. Tell me about college!
Thank you. I enjoy yours as well and wish I had the courage to speak to you when you lived in Seattle.
Mmm, well! I've found the boy, and the water tower is on our list. College is glorious and that's most all there is to say; "fundamentals of music" is laughable for now ("stroke one + stroke two = whole note" -- it's a circle, for crying out loud, and I know how to draw it.) but surely it must improve with time -- surely??!
