Wow, I love your writing style in this piece. It all fits together so perfectly, and the physical descriptions of the surroundings and the changing seasons are so appropriate for the theme. Great work, Jiyin! I hope you write more pieces such as this!

This is so beautiful... *sigh*. I wish I were interested enough in the series (as opposed to just a handful of characters) to really understand the significance of what's going on here. You've got a great balance of showing and telling, but if I may offer a bit of criticism- despite the intent behind it, at times the imagery feels disjointed and heavy-handed.

You have an amazing ability of creating and conveying such emotional depth with words. I suppose that some areas may have sound a bit heavy and/or disjointed, but I felt those very qualities helped express the heaviness and disjointed emotional state that Sakura was experiencing. I especially liked how you used the seasons to mirror the people leaving - your words made it easy to visualize the imagery of Naruto in the autumn and Kakashi in the winter. Very beautifully written.

ohh, yeah i guess so. such a pity. i don't think i'll be entering though, my inspiration has been drawing a little thin- though usually i'd try something very last minute prior to the deadline.
