Words to LARP by?

Even when it's acceptable to play a character who destroys the lives of other characters, it's never acceptable to destroy the fun of other players. Even if the player is simply "playing in character," depicting a character's evil in such a way that causes real problems at the table is just discourteous.

As much as I agree with this statement, I would have to add some things in pure fairness.

1. Understand that a player destroying the fun of others or causing problems at the table may not understand what they are doing. Rather, they understand their actions, but not the effect on others.

2. With 1 in mind, communicate. Inform and make sure they understand.

I agree wholeheartedly. And I just love that they use at the end "discourteous", it just makes that paragraph.
