Spent a couple of hours today in a cluttered, dusty room, emptying out the rest of that closet.  Ug.

I'm donating that tower of old jeans to a denim recycling program.  I'll wash up and sell what's wearable (donate what doesn't sell at the yard sale), cut the pretty fabrics into usable pieces, cut some rags, and just trash the rest.

So I was digging through the guestroom, organizing, evaluating, picking out things for the yard sale, and I finally dug into one of the two closets.  That's when The Great Purge of 2010 came to a screeching halt.

I have a little time to kill while I run the sprinklers.  Our water pressure isn't high enough to run more than one sprinkler at a time, so I have to watch the clock and remember to switch them, which makes it impossible to get too into doing anything else.  I can't wait until we have grass again and I can quit this watering nonsense.  I also ( Read more... )

I haven't been getting solid, regular sleep for weeks now and I get kind of pinched and cranky, which makes me prone to bouts of madness, ...more so than usual.  I have imaginary arguments with voices in my head, and the imaginary snowballs and spills out into the real world.

Gods, what a lovely day!  I know it's not at all exciting sounding, but I absolutely love a low-key non-work day at home.
