3. It is insanely easy to hypnotize people, if they are willing, I've done it by mistake twice. As it is a psychological thing and vampires have fully functional brains, I don't see why not. I wouldn't go to a psychiatrist, though, they are just doctors with like, three weeks of extra psychology. The joke in the psychologist world is that they treat everything with pills instead therapy. Treat the symptom, not the disease kinda thing.

Wow ... by mistake? Are you some sort of professional hypnotist? I find hypnotism very interesting but have no personal experience, other than watching a couple of those college shows where they get folks from the audience. My understanding is that there's a high correlation between intelligence and ability to be hypnotized. The consensus seems to be: hypnotism is possible.

You may be going to hell, but if that's where this awesomeness will be, I'll be there too!

Random thought from my head, in response to you saying you've dug yourself into a hole with the dark kinky fic... "I want to be in your hole! Wait... wait... that is so wrong..."

I don't think human drugs would work - body would probably reject it like human food. But maybe if the human they drank from had, say, shot up before so it was in their bloodstream? Or some horrible silver drug?

hahaha!!!!!! And you're right on point 2, I think if I want to drug any vampires, it'll be in tainted blood (why not? If the maenad could poison Bill, maybe you can drug them.)

The watersports, hm. I love the idea of it but somehow don't quite clear the hurdle of writing it. I think I need a short writing assignment to get away from the Dark Fic, maybe that will be it.

Hmm..I think I am going to have make some extra time watch season 2 of QAF...

As for the silver, according to the books it definitely burns and weakens them. However, I don't think it weakens them just because of the pain from the burning, because in book 2 Harris has Isabel's arms and legs bound with cloth before being chained with silver in order for her to be immobile but unharmed. As for the being drugged thing, I'd agree that the vampire would have to ingest via human bloodstream. Also, I haven't a clue about the hypnotism, but would find it a plausible idea assuming, of course, that the vampire in question was willing.

Ooo the watersports scene- PLEASE. It's not my particular kink, but so many other kinks can be intertwined with it and it just intrigues me so.

Now, I read spanking and daddy!kink and my mind immediately went to all sorts of awful (ie WONDERFUL) places so I'm pretty confident that you won't be alone in that hand-basket...

Happy writing!

If you liked the sexing in Season 1, then Season 2 is worth it... although if the story's boring you, it's a lot to slog through. But when they're having at it, WHOA. Two beautiful mens.

Excellent point about Isabel! (I really need to get that damn book back from the person I loaned it to, or just go buy another.) So it must weaken them. This will likely be a plot point and I do like to think it through. I think we are also a go on hypnotism and ingesting something in the blood.

Maybe I should write that darn short watersports scene as a mental break from the longer fics.

I fully support any mental break that brings about kink ficlets, just in case you were wondering haha.

1. Ethan was a low class rat that should have been castrated and thrown to the sharks!
I guess I can see the writer’s point of view with the whole Justin-had-to-live-his-life-with-someone-his-age thing but I can still don’t like it!

3. I would think that it’s all in the Master’s/Father’s mind. For example, if Godric ordered Eric to open up his mind and let the guy that does the hypnosis in and allow him to put him in a trance then Eric would HAVE to do it, right? Or maybe there is a vampire kind that possesses such power; to hypnotize their kind so that they can see the truth.

Ethan is so profoundly not my cup of tea that it's hard to work up much sympathy for him, although given the story's construct I can see why they'd have come up with him (the anti-Brian.) Personally I think it would have been more realistic, and a fairer fight, to give him another older man like Brian who's more the flowers-and-candy deal. And I'd have liked it better if it hadn't been cheating that ended it. Instead, more of a be-careful-what-you-wish-for scenario -- Justin gets bored, misses the hot sex, whatever.

I think Godric himself is going to be the willing victim. :)
