Blissy's the bomb. She's been nitpicking some of the tiny details until she's satisfied. I, however, am thrilled.

I was always wondering how Godric came to me an Inquisitor and how Eric felt about it!

Also, "No, Eric, I killed him because of what he did to you. Surely you must know that."
OMG!!!! You need to write a love scene following that line! If I was Eric I would have made love to him 'till next Friday!!!!

p.s: Your new layout AND banner fucking ROCK!!!!

Can I tell you a secret? Sure, why not, who'll read it? :) I'd asked Blissy for permission to use one of the headers in her journal, which I thought would be perfect (altered slightly for me.) She, knowing from past experience what an utter lack of technical skilz I have, went ahead and did all the rest of it. For which I am profoundly grateful. My stock LJ template was getting on my nerves, but I have zero programming abilities.

I think all of us writing fic imbue our characters on here with certain quirks, just because we can. In my LJ world, Eric is totally clear on how much he loves Godric. But, like many children, sometimes he fails to grasp how unconditionally that love is returned to him. So Godric starts this (Godric-like) lecture on tyrants and laws and etc., and Eric thinks: oh. So that's why he did it. It struck me as this poignant moment when Godric can say to him, no, you goose -- obviously I did this for you.

Mmm, Godric as torturer is sooooo hot!

Anything in the works on earlier times where Eric is forced to be there/watch... and just how he is made to do this?

Coming back from my brief 5 day LJ hiatus to find 3 new bits of awesomeness from you totally made my day!

Godric as torturer is so wrong it's right.

Hm. The Eric bit. Godric just required him to be there as he worked, and so Eric was. Even though he didn't like it. I don't know about writing it ... I had to work so hard to make Eric's torture memorably awful but not make myself vomit in the process. Writing another torture scene with a vampire would be hard.

On the other hand I can offer you more disgusting Carsten porn, and I'm working on another fic in that general area ... I don't want to give too much away, it's an odd fic. A couple people asked for it, and one of them might have been you, honestly I can't remember if you're even reading my Carsten stuff? At this rate I'll have no readers at all except the most hardcore ones.

I think it's a sign of awesome if YOUR OWN writing makes you vomit :)

I am definitely reading the Carsten stuff. Pretty much anything you write, I am willing to read and drool over, as it is, without a doubt, awesome!

Aren't you the one who said the inside of my mind is a scary place, or something like that? ;-)

And yes -- sure, I can think of terrible Eric details (or any other details!) and am always trying to decide, would I actually want to *read* that?

Re: Well, it finally happened. LJ says my feedback is TOO LONG for one comment. septemberoses March 3 2010, 22:12:13 UTC
And yech, the torture-details. Which I struggled with endlessly, the wording. I wanted them to be horrific without making anyone hurl. And they (of course!) vague enough that people can come up with their own ideas about the precise details. Having said that, I thought it was sweet and funny and very Godric to give Eric a little something else to think about. And -- hey -- Godric's strange, but he's not squeamish ( ... )

Oh gods. That last line killed me! Cuddly!Eric!
The description, the darkness, Eric's torture, and how calm Godric is about torturing, fucking brilliant. and wow, them chopping off Eric's hands! Man, that's cold. But it's really cool that they grow back. I love how much you've thought all this out. You are made of awesome:)

I think it was in the books (?) that your limbs etc. would grow back, which, after all, makes sense if they're supposed to be able to endlessly return to their previous form. I do like to embroider on those details. In this one I tried not to make it totally disgusting!

I know, I know -- I just want Eric to hold him!
