I say this all the time, but your Godric is so dead-on as to how I picture him in my head. So matter-of-fact, yet so much more than meets the eye. And Eric! Poor Eric, I always feel so bad for him, hahaha.

I, also, really enjoy how you incorporate stuff from the books, like the regeneration of limbs. As much as I love the showverse (it gave us Godric after all!), I'm a sucker for the bookverse.

Really wonderful, thank you!

That *was* in the book, right? The limb thing? I thought it was, and then I thought, god, did I make that up? I didn't think so ... they're supposed to return to however they were when they "died" so I figured they must regrow their parts. I've only read the first three or four.

I'm a lurker, I confess. Stone me if you must, just don't hurt my fingers, I need them to type this review.

Inquisitor!Godric is possibly the most spot-on character I've read so far in this fandom. For the record, Godric is my favourite TB character, so this is me telling you that you are to be worshiped by slaves oiled wits the finest brushes and quite possibly trained to make public announcements every time you post something. The kink! The angst! The KINK! Be still, my heart, my blood is needed further south.

Finally commenting, I've read a handful of your stories so far but I get to the end and I can't seem to find the words to express how amazingly well-written they are.
First and foremost, I love your take on Eric and Godric, and that you are upfront about it being your take. Its completely feasible to me, if not completely in-character (what do you mean Godric died in the show?) [ASIDE]I mean, when I watched Godric die on the show I was put out because there had been so much potential. Your stories are a great consolation for what wasn't put on the show.

ANYWAY, about this story. I love the dynamic of Eric being insecure and needing. Between the Godric's-manual-on torture and Eric's flashback there's a lot of unspoken emotion that goes on in the story and it really shows how old (&deep) their bond is.

UGH, if any of that made sense or came out half as flattering as it was meant to be.
I loved this :)
