I'm a softie, I felt really sorry for Gerrit, but I did appreciate how this side of the story accentuated Godric's dangerous side.

Brain-melt, excellent. Sigh. I'd have loved to watch Godric play with that Dutch boy too.

And eeee -- don't invoke Charlaine's name! She's such a terrible writer... I really do hear Eric saying the word "bullshit," though, it seems so Eric to me.

Mary Sookie. bleh. I was over on ff.net and had my eyeballs seared.

And the Godric bit ... yes. That was the point. I love thinking about him from the perspective of outsiders. I honestly think he'd be terrifying.

I love vampire business, it's fun to think about what they'd be up to. And that Mary-Sue crap makes me cringe. Couldn't resist the joke.

That is exactly what triggered it, an extremely unfortunate visit to ff.net to browse Godric fics. A mistake I will never make again, btw.

Sweden requires it. God, I had so much fun writing that section once I thought of it.

Not too dark? Not too dark for you, anyway! Sometimes I can't decide whether I'm being too creepy, but the thing is, I really like the juxtaposition of creepy and humor and sexy -- because that's what they ARE to me. I actually cut that paragraph down before it went off into the specific gruesome porno details. So sad.

My summary, I keep waiting for an angry note from a comm moderator or something, but kill.me.now those stupid Mary Sue fics.
