Great fic! I would have loved for Smallville to go this way after Doomsday. I like that in your story Chloe made Oliver stay when he was going to go. Also love that years later they have a baby Carter (I like that name) now they're complete. Thanks for sharing :)

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed this. Sometimes I wish the show had gone that way, but there were certain perks to the direction they chose. As for Carter, the name fits to me, even if he has a different name in the SV comics.

I'm not going to lie, something tells me that I'm going to have a soft spot for this one. The song that inspired it, the subject matter, it hits home in a few ways

Angst! Guilt hurt fear helplessness .. were beaten by passion hopes determination and solidity.
I couldn't help from crying when it come to your vulnerable emotional Chloe but love the fact that bravely fight against to turn it around with all her strength and believes, and I felt so relief that Oliver let her in. I also love sweet moments of happy Chlollie family.
