Trust me, it's not easy, try a patch. It took me four days to get it out of my system and then the rest was my crazy nicotine-induced neurosis. You have to really WANT to quit. Everytime you want to light up think about your daughter and how not smoking gives you the health you need to be with her as she grows. I loves smoking and I quit a year ago last January and haven't touched another since. Tristan really helped me with my addiction and your little sweetie can more than likely help you.
good for you. I quit in December, and if you remember how much I smoked before, it was quite a task. Its nice being able to smell and taste things again. It is also great knowing that I don't have any crutches or addictions.
This usually doesn't deter any smoker when I tell him/her, but I'll share it with you anyway. 2 years ago, my mother had all of her toes cut off due to a circulation disorder called raynards. Although, you don't have to be a smoker to develop this disorder, 4 doctors told her and me, that if she hadn't been a smoker, the disorder would not have progressed to the level that it did. Since then, the doctors have told her if she doesn't stop smoking, she may eventually lose her fingers as well. Do you know she has NOT stopped?!?! I think it's just a matter of time for her now.
Sweetie, I am with you on this. You have to live and long and healthy life not only for your sake, but for your loved ones (especially your dughter). *hugs*
