The night was a peaceful one, for once.  Dan Dreiberg was spending an unusual night at home, catching up on his reading.  He was curled up on the couch, a huge stack of ornithological journals laid beside him carefully on the floor.  The gentle melody of Billie Holiday's "God Bless the Child" wafted through the apartment.

Ugh, awesome. The shaving kit belonging to his father was a nice touch, and oh dear lord Rorschach in suspenders is possibly the best thing ever.

The little kiss he planted while shaving Daniel was extremely sweet. I couldn't help but smile a little.

I laughed a little picturing him in suspenders, but it added to the whole "liking the older stuff" very well.
