The cops just left my house ...
It seems that someone broke into the house right next door today. In through the alley ... took everything. My poor neighbour.
And here we were having dinner with Callaghan on Sunday, discussing how safe it is over here being right on 14th with so much traffic.

I feel violated just knowing that someone did this in our neighborhood ... did they look at our house too and think better of it? has someone been watching to see when the best time to hit them was?
If it happened to us, it would devistate our family ... it took us five years to get what we have, we couldn't just go out and replace it.

Live pretty much right near that intersection too -- of course I was at work during the day all week -- that's when it happened? Freaks me out I'll definitely keep my eyes out on my days off.

be careful ... i really think this was planned. last week, i was having a smoke in the evening and all the dogs down the alley were freaking out. spooked me ...
i told one of my friends about it the next day and she suggested that maybe someone was back there casing houses.
i was up at 5:30 that morning and didn't see anything ... i feel so badly for them.

Probably was planned. It's scary because I always thought this neighbourhood was one of the safer ones in the city, but now that, and the M&M meats near here was broken into the other month, beginning to wonder.
