recovering from a root canal with no t3's. (that's what i get for being sedated and not in my right mind to remind the dentist to write the prescription)

I received a book from my *auntie* Val this week. Val was our neighbor when I was growing up in Snow Lake. If only all christians could be like my auntie.

The book is called 'Final Gifts' and it was written by hospice nurses Maggie Callanan & Patricia Kelley.

The cops just left my house ...

It seems that someone broke into the house right next door today. In through the alley ... took everything. My poor neighbour.

And here we were having dinner with Callaghan on Sunday, discussing how safe it is over here being right on 14th with so much traffic.

I wish I'd seen something ... I wish I could help

I awoke this morning to a card. Yup, that's right sixstrung actually bought me a card.

I borrowed it from a "friend" many moons ago when I lived in Vancouver and I've been meaning to buy it ever since.

despite the title, it was a great book ... anyone else read it?

I called mom this evening to tell her about the house, and she was able to one up me ...

The very first purr I ever got (he was my very own and not a *family* cat) died last night. He was 18.
