Yesterday I was on the phone with my mom discussing taxes. Naturally, since I work part-time at H&R Block now, I'm better able to file them this year than in years past. Yet another throwback to my childhood! For some reason, I have this hanger in my closet. It's one of those papered wire hangers, and I wove this multi-colored yarn around the wire frame puncturing the paper in various places as I did so and wrote on it the name of a book and its author. Ravioli
I just had some unheated cheese ravioli for lunch, and it reminded me of my childhood. I used to eat Chef Boyardee ravioli after heating it up on the stovetop for a few minutes or, if I was lazy, I would eat it straight out of the can. I think I prefer it "cooked." It tastes better to me.

san diego - the text version
I arrived around 1 pm on Wednesday the 28th, and was dropped off by my friend at Balboa Park. I walked around for a bit trying to familiarize myself with the area. The staff at the Visitor Center was polite and helpful. I had a quick sandwich at Cafe in the Park, and then visited the SD Museum of Art. I went on vacation to San Diego earlier this month. Yay! It was much needed. I highly enjoyed being there, and it allowed me to de-stress myself of all of life's crap for 4-5 days. Mom takes me back to her house so I can change (from work clothes to jeans) and have lunch while I wait for my dad to come over. He's late....of course. He's always late.
