Dude I totally agree with you on the whole kids of today being spoiled rotten. I got two neices and a nephew who got like every toy known to man. And they also don't really like to listen. Don't get me wrong, I love them to death, it just amazes me how back when I was little parents made their kids listen, but now they have a tendicy to ignore them. You do got to give your cousin some credit though, despite the obstacles, he still found a way to do what he wanted. Kids are cute sometimes.

Yeah, in my blind satisfaction of removing the TV, I had forgotten his other options. Oh well. Next time I'll try unplugging the computer monitor. At least he'd just stick to the TV and not bother the grandparents.

Talk about a generation gap! Back then was so different from now. I can't even begin to list potential reasons behind the shift in parental responsibilities. It's just too macro.
