I love having to grow (skill-wise) into new tools!!
Having such a space means learning better how to leverage it.
Used to be, I used a do-or-die gardening approach. Plant it. If it dies, it deserved it. (heh) I've gotten better at researching heat/light/water/soil needs. :) And now, while many seedlings got scorched one day when it got unexpectedly hot (before the vent and the door were in), the pumpkins that survived the oven are now GIANTS after being transplanted outdoors.
Maybe I'll have one of those nursery-story reenactments where M. gets to carve a giant pumpkin with his chain saw and I get to live in it very well?? Naaaaw....
I *loved* seeing your garden space too!!! Lovely, peaceful, and oh home-grown is so tasty and satisfying!
