Laid Up in Baghdad

I've spent most of the last 10 days laid up in bed, with a staph infection on my leg. It was caught fairly early, and I enjoyed the attention of a cute sergeant, and a lovely PA (both females, if you were confused), and then a week of daily packing of the wound, and taking antibiotics twice a day. I did a decent amount of reading in that time,

Thanks for the good wishes. It honestly did get to the point where I was worried, bordering on scared about it, but they caught it early. Everyone keeps telling me I was lucky.
