If you are local and either don't have plans or don't celebrate Christmas and want to join us for dinner let me know. The food will be fairly traditional holiday food and there will be decorations, but we don't celebrate it in the religious sense. It is an excuse to celebrate and cherish loved ones while eating pie! Almost home
The past two days have been rough. I flew out to California in middle seat, non-direct flights. I had my two hour meeting, where I spoke for maybe 5 minutes and then I killed 10 hours in the airport (got a facial and pedicure) and now I wait to board my final leg for home...

Game of Thrones- Week 2
So I am rereading the series while I watch the show. Due to work and exercise constraints, I am only slightly ahead of the series. I am definitely enjoying the book the second time through and may eventually forgive him for writing so damn slow. My big fear is he will ruin the series like Orson Scott Card did with Alvin Maker. Jeff and I are trying to decide our holiday (December 25th) plans.
Are there any local folks who don't otherwise have plans and would like to join us for a family meal and games? My current plans are vegetarian, but depending on attendees, I could do meat (traditional or not) or even gluten free... -

The Hunger Games...
I purchased The Hunger Games last night and have already finished it. It was quite the page turner! I downloaded the next book to read as I head into the city today... I really like the instant gratification of ebooks.
