yah. my boss wears hugo boss shirts, hermes belt, prada shoes, and gucci / LV bags..... kept saying hat i should carry a "proper" bag (i'm using a charles & keith workbag now).

ohmygod... dont worry i'm like u, i buy cheap stuff that looks expensive, otherwise i only buy clothes during sale and even then it has to be really cheap or worth it before i buy them

There are so many complications and factors to consider before anything else might happen. Right now I'm still very much single and available. Are you free on 2nd Dec night? It's a Sat. I'm going to be back in Singapore that afternoon... You can listen to all my woes while I yours. Maybe can even come up with ways to deal with your horribly shallow boss ~.^

Actually hor, I see no point in getting LV. Cos too many fakes around. And the leather is heavy. And, it is SO COMMON! Wah liew! I'd rather spend the money on getting something unique. Like a handmade bag or something. Then bluff them you got it from Palais Renaissance. Say you pay $2000 for it. LOL!

I also pride myself on wearing stuff that looks expensive when it's not. It's kind of like an achievement. I spend lesser money but manage to make myself look better than other people.

It's peer pressure la... Take it easy. If anyone ask you about decent bag or watch or clothes again, just tell them your standard of decent is market standard. You happy can liao.

peer pressure i can deal with, but imagine if its like your boss issuing a psuedo-order... grr. will maintain my stand though; can't afford those stuff on my pay anyway! like you say, i happy can liao. heh. ;)
